About us

A little about us.  We are your average, run-of-the-mill, female climber.  We hold down full-time jobs.  We climb indoors between one and three times a week.  We don’t do specific training (yet) or follow a special training diet.  But we love climbing and being outdoors.

We’re just like the majority of you, which is why we set up this site and why we want to hear from you!

Who we are

Georgina

I’ve been climbing regularly since December 2009.  My favourite types of routes veer between thuggy, juggy overhangs and delicate, crimpy slabs.  Bouldering is a means to an end for me, I find that it increases my strength, technique and confidence levels for climbing, which is my real passion, but I have massive admiration for strong female boulderers!

I work behind a desk in London.  I have a dog, and a mortgage.  No kids (yet).

Kirsty

I’ve been climbing for about five years on and off. Life sometimes gets in the way, as I’m sure everyone experiences. My experience is mainly indoors climbing as I live in London, but try to get out as often as I can. I prefer top roping, but am working on my bouldering and lead climbing. I also aim to try some more ice climbing this winter. I work as an engineer in London. When not climbing, I enjoy being outside, walking, surfing, riding my bike, dancing and reading about these things.
